Sector

A unit of astrography defined as an area 32 parsecs from spinward to trailing by 40 parsecs from coreward to rimward. Each sector is divided into 16 subsectors. A 2x2 arrangement of sectors is sometimes referred to as a quadrant. A typical sector of Charted Space will contain several hundred starsytems.
