"The Sudin Subsector was the scene of much fighting during the War of Einarchy Independence. Since that time the subsector has seen an unprecendented period of peace and commercial prosperity. Trade has increased remarkably, and the bordering interstellar states have been able to greatly reduce their naval forces in the area. Twelve systems belong to the Einarchy, two to Range Valyana, three to Ramayan, four to K'Chemi Centralate, and eight are independent. All states in this area are reinforcing their naval forces in anticipation of trouble with the Zultani.

The Sudin Subsector contains 29 systems with a total population of 167.4 million. The highest Population Level is 8 at Varna, Puri, Tatung, and Enugu; the highest Tech Level is D at Varna."

Sudin is Subsector K of Maranantha-Alkahest Sector. Neighboring subsectors are Khali Subsector to coreward, Dawes Subsector to rimward, Tuwaiq Subsector to spinward, and T'Shemi Subsector to trailing.

 

Elkhovo and Levka have no allegiance marks in the original data. No such mark normally implies an independent world, but since the subsector map clearly shows both worlds within the borders of the Krmyia Einarchy they have been assigned to that polity. Alternate explanations exist, such as they are independent worlds claimed but not controlled by the Einarchs. Could this situation be related to the allegiance issues with Hadhar in Ralmar Subsector?

 

K'Trun is listed as a waterworld, but its Universal World Profile gives a hydro code of only 8. No explanation is given for this discrepancy.
