Ralmar Subsector
"The Ralmar Subsector has all but three of the systems herein contained within the Zultan Al Amyi. This area of the Zultanate has been the scene of several conflicts with the Sydymic Empire to spinward. Internal dissention has also been frequent, led by either Shaqra or Qadhima. At the present time, sentiment in the spinward regions of the Zultanate matches that in its other regions: that of a building desire for a crusade of renewal.

The Ralmar Subsector contains 30 systems with a total population of 1.15 billion. The highest Population Level is 9 at Sakaka and Qadhima; the highest Tech Level is D at Sakaka, Shaqra and Qadhima"
--Maranantha-Alkahest Sector Guidebook
Ralmar is Subsector I of Maranantha-Alkahest Sector. Neighboring subsectors are Skelmore Subsector to coreward, Yakilnet Subsector to rimward, Sydymic Empire Subsector of Ley Sector to spinward, and Tuwaiq Subsector to trailing.
Sabya is listed as an Amber Zone (travellers use caution). No canonical explanation is given for Sabya's Amber status. |
Hadhar is given two allegiance marks in the Maranantha-Alkahest Sector Guidebook, one for the Zultanate Al Amya and one for Range Valyana. Since Hadhar is clearly within the Zultanate border on the relevant sector and subsector maps, the Valyana mark is probably an error. Another possible interpretation is that the world is disputed. While no other evidence supports this alternative, it is a much more interesting solution to this problem. What pretext could Range Valyana offer for claiming this relatively distant world? Perhaps some of the locals are of Valyanan descent. Could Elkhovo and Levka in Sudin Subsector be related cases? |
