Corsairs

Although theoretically any vessel can be used for piracy, some ships are better pirates than others. Vessels classified as Corsairs are capable of imitating the exterior configuration of several other ship types and usually have variable transponders as well. Most such Corsairs are in the 400 to 800 ton range and in some cases the cargo bays on these ships are designed to swallow smaller vessels whole.
