Border Prowler Class Cruiser

A 1,000 ton needle/wedge hull armed with two particle accelerators (one light turret and one heavy barbette), dual fusion guns, lasers, and missiles. Defenses include a sandcaster and a nuclear damper.

Removing the demountable fuel tanks reduces the range to Jump 3, but increases cargo capacity to 300 tons. A special module was built which fits into the cargo bay and provides staterooms and life support for 100 troops in middle passage. A low passage module was also built which provided for 250 men in low passage, 50 tons of equipment, and staterooms for 10 command personnel."
